Reacting To My Premier League predictions

In August, I predicted the Premier League and I wanted to react to them now as the season has now ended. Manchester City won the League again by two points in front of Arsenal, who fought till the end. You can see it below.

1: Predicted- Manchester City , Actual-Manchester City 

I was correct with this prediction in predicting that my club I support would win the League for the 4th year in a row. To be honest, I always predict that :). This was a biased prediction but it wasn't a wrong one lol. It was at one point looking like the title would be lost but experience paid off.

2:Predicted-Liverpool , Actual-Arsenal

I thought Liverpool would be the ones who would challenge City for the title as they have done many times in the past. I also knew that it was Klopp's last season and I was right .Arsenal would be the ones who remained close to us.

3:Predicted- Tottenham , Actual -Liverpool 

I thought Tottenham would be rejuvenated team under their new manager Ange and finish top 4 but injuries prevented them. Liverpool whom I predicted would be 2nd ended up finishing 3rd after the results didn't go their way. 

4:Predicted-Manchester United, Actual- Aston Villa 

I thought that Manchester United would be at least top 4 but it didn't. No one expected Aston Villa to be qualifying for the Champions League. They were brilliant for their normal standards.

5: Predicted- Chelsea , Actual - Tottenham

I expected Chelsea to do a bit better than last season and they did but didn't finish 5th but they could have if Tottenham had fewer points.  

6:Predicted- Newcastle,  Actual -Chelsea 

I expected to Newcastle to finish round about 6th but they actually finished 7th. So I wasn't too incorrect. 

7:Predicted-Brighton , Actual -Newcastle 

I thought Brighton would be finishing for another berth in a European competition but injured and results didn't go their way. 

8: Predicted- Arsenal , Actual-Manchester United 

I didn't expect Arsenal to be challenging us again , I thought they'd fall off but I was so wrong.  Instead,  Manchester United finished in their lowest position since the First Division era.

9:Predicted- Aston Villa, Actual- West Ham

I thought Aston Villa would be finishing here because I felt it was normal but they did the unexpected.

10: Predicted- Everton,  Actual- Crystal Palace 

Everton had to face points deductions because of FFP. 8 points were removed from them. If they didn't they'd be closer to 10th.

11: Predicted- Burnley,  Actual- Brighton 

I thought Burnley wouldn't be relegated because they did extremely well in the Championship. Kompany's tactics did not get the results required. 

12: Predicted- Brentford, Actual- Bournemouth 

They actually finished 16th.

13: Predicted- Fulham, Actual-Fulham

I was correct with this prediction. This is round about where Fulham normally finish in their best season. 

14: Predicted- West Ham, Actual- Wolves 

I thought West Ham would be here but they finished 9th. I was wrong by a mile. 

15: Predicted- Crystal Palace, Actual- Everton 

I got Palace and Everton the wrong way round lol.

16: Predicted - Bournemouth, Actual - Brentford

Bournemouth did better than I expected. They finished 12th.

17:Predicted- Wolves, Actual- Nottingham Forest 

Wolves actually finished 14th.

18: Predicted -Nottingham Forest,  Actual - Luton 

I would have been correct if Nottingham Forest had finished with 7 less points. 

19: Predicted - Sheffield United,  Actual-Burnley 

Sheffield United did get relegated but were the worst team in the division. 

20: Predicted- Luton, Actual-Sheffield United 

I thought Luton would finish rock bottom because of their squad and financial status. 

So therefore, only 2 predictions were correct.That Manchester City would win the League and that Fulham would finish 13th.
