Reacting to my Euros Group Stage predictions.

In this article I will react to my Euros 2024 Group Stage predictions. 

In Group A, I predicted it would be Germany with 9 points in 1st. Switzerland with 6 points in 2nd, Scotland with 3 points in 3rd but I did think Hungary could have finished there and they did. The table finished like this(see image below).

In Group B, I predicted it would be Spain in 1st , Italy in 2nd , Croatia in 3rd and Albania last. I thought that Spain, Italy and Croatia would have 5 points and Albania would have none. While the order was correct the points weren't. The table finished like this(see image below).

In Group C, I predicted that England would get 9 points in 1st with Denmark getting 6 points in 2nd. Serbia 3 points in 3rd and Slovenia with 0 points in last. The top 2 were correct. The table finished like this(see image below).

In Group D, I predicted France would get 7 points with Netherlands getting 5 points and Austria getting 4 points. I think Poland will have no points. However, this group was totally different than my predictions because unexpected results happened e.g. Austria beating Netherlands and finishing above France. The table finished like this(see image below).

In Group E, I predicted Belgium would get 9 points, Ukraine getting 6 and Romania getting 3. Slovakia with 0. However , the group resulted in Romania winning the group, big shock.The table finished like this(see image below).

In Group F I predicted Portugal would get 9 points with Turkey getting 6 points. The Czech Republic will have 3 points with Georgia having none. The top 2 were correct but Georgia shocked everyone and finished 3rd. The table finished like this(see image below).

For the 3rd place table(4 teams out of 6 teams qualify)predicted it would be Croatia top with 5 points with a goal difference of 2. Austria is second with 4 points and a goal difference of 1 , Scotland 3rd with 3 points and a goal difference of 1 and Czech Republic with 3 points with a goal difference of 0. Only Croatia finished 3rd but didn't qualify. The table finished like this and the top 4 teams qualified. 

I didn't expect these 4 teams to have been in this ranking or qualifying.

How many of your predictions did you get correct? Out of 24 I got 10 correct position wise not points. . I predicted Turkey would get 6 points and finish 2nd ,that was the only nation that actually got this position and points. Let me know your thoughts?
