Euros Semi Final overview

Spain and France faced off in the Semis. The match was a great watch! 3 goals were scored in the first 25 minutes. France took the lead before a couple of rapid Spanish goals brought them into the lead. France were favourites once they scored but after Spain scored twice they were in control. France did show some glimmers of hope but it wasn't enough to beat the Spaniards. Who advanced to the final.

England and Netherlands, was the second semi final. Netherlands took the lead before England were awarded a controversial penalty. This was converted into the goal to level the tie. England were dominating after that , they could have been ahead before half time - same could be said for Netherlands. In the second half, the Dutch were on the front foot as England slowed down. This was no avail as England scored in the 90 minute to join the Spaniards in the final. For the second consecutive Euros tournament, England have reached the Final.
